The Anne Dickson Band was formed in 1992 by original members Anne, Ali, Calum and Dougie.This brought together a group of friends / musicians who already had a wealth of experience in different styles of music.
The Struan House Hotel (Carrbridge) was the scene for many of our earlier gigs, where we were often joined no stage by many of our other colleagues eg. Lal McLeod, Gilly, Fergus, Peter woods and the late Bill Paul, to name but a few!.
Suddenly, Friday nights bacame bigger and bigger.
As the Band has grown and changed over the years we have always been bonded by one thing: the love of music. We hope this is very much evident in our playing.

Duggie Edwards Jnr Bass Guitar / Vocals Currently studying music in Edinburgh where he is actively involved in the Jazz / Funk scene. Also a member of The Approvals	Dougie Edwards Keyboards / Guitar Dougie is a founder member and the business head of the band	Michael MacLennan Keyboards / Vocals Has just completed his degree in music can also be heard with other local bands and as a soloist in various Piano Bars
Calum Beange Lead Guitar / Vocals Started as a fiddle player in Scottish music and has also worked with Panache and Elm Street Boys	Sam McLeod Drummer / Piano Studying music in Edinburgh and working freelance with bands and teaching	Ali Mutch Sax / Vocals Originally started at the age of 12 in his parents Scottish Dance Band also worked with The Heat, Mojo Pep and the Elm Street Boys
Ronnie Douglas Accordion / Piper Also works as a soloist and wedding piper	Anne Dickson Vocals / Guitar Started performing at the age of 12 in the Folk Music circuit. Founder member of UZZ. Can also be heard as a soloist and recording artist	This is the orignal 3 when Cal had hair and Ali and I were slim!!!
